Mr. Gaurav Gupta, has made a remarkable mark in the industry at a very young age with his hard work and passion in just about 6 years. After successfully completing his PGDM - Marketing, NMIMS Bangalore in 2014, he took the plunge and joined the family business, raising the banner high and taking the legacy to greater heights.
Aspiration has always been the driving force for Mr. Gaurav Gupta who launched new product categories exclusively for the Gen Y. Currently, he heads the premium range of products at Dollar Industries Limited – Force NXT. Experience in sales has given him deeper insights into the industry. Striding through an initial challenging phase of joining an established organisation, his optimistic attitude and business acumen led the brand to modern retail division of establishing large format stores that offer consumers an ideal shopping experience.
Over the years, he left no stone unturned, and immediately recognized the immense potential of technology in executing business processes, ensuring lesser manual effort and increasing overall efficiency. Mr. Gaurav Gupta is the director for the joint venture of Dollar Industries Limited with Pepe Jeans Europe BV; post its finalisation in 2017.
Ms. Vedika Gupta
(Vice President, Marketing)
Enthusiastic and meticulous, Ms. Vedika Gupta currently heads the marketing division for Dollar Industries Limited. After successfully completing her MBA from IBS Hyderabad, Ms. Vedika Gupta joined the company in 2018 and has played a pivotal role in designing, implementing and monitoring effective marketing strategies that align with Dollar’s business goals.
During her tenure, she has implemented cohesive marketing plans to increase brand visibility across online and offline markets. With her strong management skills, she has been an active part of Dollar’s rebranding strategy alongside curating a 360 degree marketing approach of budgeting, allocation of resources, OOH campaigns, digital marketing and retail branding. .
In addition to heading the Marketing department, Ms. Vedika Gupta is also associated with the initiatives undertaken by Dollar Foundation, the CSR wing of Dollar Industries Limited. She has been responsible for the success of Dollar’s #BeFreeBeYou campaign that focuses on menstrual health and hygiene of underprivileged women. She also planned and administered the installation of water huts across various cities, to provide people with safe and clean drinking water.
Mr. Aayush Gupta
(Vice President)
Accomplished and goal driven, Mr. Aayush Gupta is a third-generation entrepreneur at Dollar Industries Limited. A graduate in Bachelor’s of Commerce, he has done his specialization in Global Family Business from S.P. Jain, Mumbai in 2016. He joined the family business in 2013 and is currently heading the sales and production team for Eastern India. Under his direction and leadership, effective sales functions are concluded to ensure development, maintenance and growth for a profitable organisation. He is an integral part for heading the supply chain and logistics happening in Kolkata which constitutes to approximately 40% sales at Dollar Industries Limited.
In addition to his current role, he is also actively involved in ‘Lakshya’ which is a project initiated by Dollar Industries Limited. Based on the theory of constraints, the success of the project is highly dependent on the supply chain management. Mr. Aayush Gupta ensures the same is in alignment with the project.
Ms. Pallavi Gupta
(Vice President, HR)
A graduate from Christ University, BBA with specialization in HR in the year 2016, Ms. Pallavi Gupta joined her family business focusing on the HR department. She made significant changes in the HR practices of the company and made it more contemporary. Later on, her interest spiked into other fields of operations and so she went on to do her masters in Global Family Managed Business and sharpened her knowledge further. She also looks after the production and sales of the company’s womenswear brand, MISSY. She has also been very keen and focused to make a stronger market presence in the womenswear segment which has led her to perform continuous trials and errors in terms of launching new products catering to the market demand.
Pallavi is actively involved in planning and initiating various CSR initiatives of the organization. She spearheaded the first-ever Plog Run of Tirupur, which was a CSR initiative undertaken by Dollar focusing on a greener way of getting in shape. This was a third such initiative undertaken in India which witnessed a participation of over 3500 people. She is also a part of a few NGO's in Tirupur and working with them for the betterment of society.
Mrs.Swati Gupta
(Vice President, Institutional Sales)
With a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration – Finance from J.D. Birla Kolkata, Mrs. Swati Gupta joined the family business in 2018 and heads the institutional sales division. She is responsible for creating sales/relationship opportunities with clients, prospects and consultants in assigned market segments.
Under her supervision, Dollar Industries Limited supplies products to Canteen Store Department and Central Police Canteen to provide 'easy access to quality products of daily use, at lesser prices to the soldiers, ex-servicemen and their families.
Mrs.Swati Gupta also spearheads the retail branding and logistics for Dollar’s redefined business model ‘Lakshya’, assisting the brand in streamlining its supply chain and back-end operations. Based on the ‘Theory of Constraints’ (TOC), the company had started to appoint distributors in the area where previously the reach was not through direct channels.
